Wendy’s® Partners with Danville Area Chapter of the

American Red Cross for a Sweet Fundraiser

Danville, PA - For just a $1 donation, customers at participating Wendy’s restaurants in Northeast and Central PA can receive an all-access pass to six months of Jr. Frostys while supporting the Danville Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.

From June 6 to July 31 (or while supplies last), customers can donate $1 for a Frosty key tag at participating Wendy’s in the Northeast and Central PA area. By showing the key tag on subsequent visits to Wendy’s, customers will receive a free Jr. Frosty with any purchase, as often as they wish through December 31, 2011. Wendy’s will donate 50 percent of the net proceeds to local chapters of the American Red Cross and the other half in support of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the local Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program in the Northeast and Central PA area.  The Danville Area Chapter of the American Red Cross will use the proceeds to support its work with local disaster victims affected by fire and flood and to actively educate the community through disaster preparedness courses such as CPR, First Aid, and Automatic Electronic Defibrillator training.
