Why Volunteer? The greatest reward in serving the American Red Cross is knowing that you are helping others by giving your time, skill and knowledge to your community. You can gain new experience and interests by volunteering. In addition, you will extend your professional knowledge and adapt your skills to new situations.

The Danville American Red Cross office needs volunteers to:

Run special blood donor recruitment projects for the community - organize, initiate, implement programs to:
*recruit for specific bloodmobiles

Run special projects for the office:
* put together PR material or newsletters
* write grants
* write copy
* organize meetings and trainings

Help with Community programs:
* Feed-A-Friend

Fundraise:
Be a board member:
* help oversee our programs
* lead us into the future

 

Special  Project Opportunities

Our Chapter has several volunteer opportunities available that will help you complete the following projects:

High School Students - Senior Projects
Girl Scouts - Gold Award & Silver Award Projects
Boy Scouts - Eagle Projects
