Danville, PA - The Danville Chapter of the American Red Cross, as a fundraising event, has commissioned Gray's Watercolor Studios of Ringoes, New Jersey, to do a Pochoir print of three well-known locations in the Danville and Riverside area.

Grove Presbyterian Church, Danville, PA

West Market Street, Danville, PA

Train Station in Riverside, PA

have been transformed into Pochoir prints, which is a refined stencil-based technique employed to create prints and to add color to pre-existing prints.

FNB Bank (formerly First National Bank of Danville) sponsored the start up costs of the project. FNB, in the late 70s and early 80s, commissioned Gray's Watercolors to complete nine notable sights of Danville using the Pochoir process. The three new prints join the collection. Each unframed, matted print is available for $24.95 and fits a standard 11 x 14 frame. All proceeds from the prints benefit the Danville Chapter of the American Red Cross and will be used locally to assist with disaster response, preparedness courses, military communication, and blood collection.

Prints are on display in the Danville Chapter American Red Cross office on 346 Mill Street, and at any of the three Danville FNB Bank locations in the lobby. Orders can be placed at the Chapter office or at one of the FNB locations. For more information about the prints please call 570-275-1441.
