This site will change but basically the individual will need to
look at the current calendar for noncredit healthcare training.
Classes are offered in a variety of areas…the most local is
Emmanuel Center just outside of town.
A 15 day training program….between $600-700. there are specific
requirements so it is imperative that the individual study the
requirements carefully so things are done in a timely manner.
Some facilities will pay for the training upfront. However, there
is a clause that will allow for reimbursement from a facility…this
will be in the info booklet. Read it carefully.

choose ‘Pennsylvania Nurses Aides” click on ‘go’

under “Examinations and Registry” all the pamphlets and forms that
they will need
cost will be approx $105
If a person has been certified
in the past:
They need to verify, by social security number that they are
indeed on the registry. Once this has been verified, they can
register to take the test (see above) and get recertified.
They do no need to go thru the training again.
